This is the village of Gayle, close to Hawes, in Wensleydale. (Yorkshire Dales)

Gayle Mill is situated just downstream from this Bridge.
The mill, dating from 1776, was the winner of the northern heat of the BBC's "Restoration" series. The eventual winner (as voted by the public), will benefit from 2.5 million pounds from the heritage lottery fund to help repair the building.
