The
Strid, Near Bolton Abbey
This
shot shows the 'Strid', a popular spot on the River Wharfe,
just upstream from Bolton Abbey.
The river narrows at this point as it flows through a rocky
narrow channel which is also very deep.
Unfortunately, several people have lost their lives here over
the years. |
