This shot shows Wharfedale, looking North towards Kettlewell, from the East side of the dale above the small hamlet of Conistone, near Kilnsey.

It encompasses many typical Yorkshire Dales features in the one scene, with the improved valley farmland enclosed by dry-stone walls giving way to open moorland above the limestone outcrop.
Parts of the recent "Calendar Girls" film were shot in this area.
