This is Grimwith Reservoir, which lies just off the Pateley Bridge to Grassington road in North Yorkshire.
The reservoir, which has been enlarged in recent years by Yorkshire Water, is now the largest (in terms of capacity), in Yorkshire. There is a path which allows walkers to circumnavigate the reservoir, which is also used by a sailing club.
