Ashness
Bridge must be one of the most photographed spots in the
Lake District, but it has taken several visits to capture
an image of it that I was happy with;
this photograph being taken in Autumn 2002.
Ashness
Bridge was a subject for artists long before the invention
of photography.
Click here for
a view of the bridge produced as an engraving in 1833. The
view has changed little, and the engraving exhibits very
little in the way of "artistic licence".
I
have a limited number of high quality prints available
of this photo for immediate dispatch. (15x12
and 20x16 inches prints available).
E-mail
me for more details.
