Bealach na Ba (The Pass of the Cattle)

never far away from a cycling connection, even in the landscape
section! This was taken on a cycle touring holiday in the north-west of Scotland. Though not particularly steep, the Pass of the Cattle perhaps more closely resembles an Alpine climb than any other in Britain. It climbs from sea-level (in the background), to over 2000 feet in about 5 miles. |
